Membership
At the present
time the rules of the Club state that the membership shall be over
the age of 10 years and be prepared to foster the objects of the Club.
The membership fee for joining the Club is £15 (reduced for juniors to £10)
and this is due by the 1st September of each year.
The Annual General
Meeting of the Club is held in May of each year in order to hear the
summary of the Club's year as presented by the various officers of the
Club. At this meeting we try to steer the Club and its members along
a path for the future.
That's the heavy bit out of the way and now to
tell you what you have to do if you want to join us.
You can contact
the Secretary or any of the committee who will be able to tell you about
the forthcoming events and the current state of rehearsals. You are
welcome at one of our meetings to get to know us and for us to get to
know you.
If you are interested you will be asked to audition to assess
your abilities. Do not be put off - this is not in front of a crowd
of people and is very informal. If you can sing then maybe you'd enjoy the chorus. Perhaps singing isn't your strong point - maybe you can dance or move to rhythm then we can use you as
a dancer.
If you do not want to perform but can paint, make, design or are generally
good at D.I.Y. then backstage could be your forte. It takes a long
time to get the scenery together. But most of all, if your talent is by way of sewing then our "wardrobe" is crying out for you!
If this has whetted your appetite and
you feel that any of the above is for you then contact us!
